Liquid happiness – craft beer freshly tapped
Craft beer has been on everyone’s lips for almost three years and is firmly established as a trend in the restaurant trade. What used to be heard in music away from the mainstream is craft beer for men: they drink “independent beer” from small breweries. The trendsetters from Hollabrunn developed the PourMyBeer system to showcase the enjoyment of craft beer.
And every man’s dream has become reality: the beer is tapped by the customer! The customer loads an amount of his choice onto a chip card and buys by tapping the beer himself – a win-win situation for guests and pub owners. The owner needs fewer staff because his pub visitors can serve themselves. At the same time, he can immediately see the sales figures for his PourMyBeer and can highlight beers that have been sold less often by means of an action on the display above the taps.
However, the Redl family business would not be made up of passionate beer drinkers itself if it had not developed another attraction: the PourMyBeer TableTap. It can also be used for social gatherings. Or in the beer garden – where the guests will certainly not be leaving early. Tap your own beer – right at the table! Activation takes place via the POS system.
Paul van Boxtel from Tilburg in the Netherlands has equipped his pub ‘T Taphuys with the wall & table tap system from Redl. “The closest cooperation between the brewery and dispensing technology was necessary to ensure that the most interesting beers from all over the world flow from over 200 taps. Redl mastered this perfectly.”
