Positive summary for the 2021 guest trade fair
Although the number of visitors at this year’s “Alles für den Gast” did not come anywhere near to previous trade fairs, we were still satisfied, and it was especially good to finally get a taste of the trade fair atmosphere again.

CUSTOMIZED PAYMENT SYSTEMS
There are countless vending machines on the market that now cover all needs and customer requirements, whether for snacks, cigarettes, cold or hot drinks. They are quick to set up, easy to maintain and easy to fill. But what if you have different vending machines, espresso coffee machines or even dispensing systems, perhaps from different manufacturers, and then want a standardized payment system? This is where you reach your limits at the latest.
The company Redl from Hollabrunn has developed a solution for this. Almost every vending machine can be converted or expanded to include QR code or RFID card operation. For example, hotel guests can use their hotel room card to get a midnight snack, beer or coffee in the lobby, or employees can serve themselves in the canteen and pay on departure or at the end of the month.
With the TiPOS Bonus App, a regular customer app for restaurateurs, a beer dispenser in the outdoor smoking area can be operated using the QR code. Credit can be topped up beforehand or obtained by collecting regular customer points. Depending on the customer’s wishes.
INDIVIDUAL SOLUTION FOR EVENTS
At major events or in stadiums, visitors use their own RFID card. They are issued either at the entrance or via a vending machine, which even carries out an age check using an ATM card and where the card can be topped up or the balance can be checked. The cups are managed by our own dispensing and return machines and the deposit is booked on the RFID card and refunded. Visitors can pour their own beer, wine or soft drinks at their own taps or take snacks from vending machines. When the card is returned to the card machine, payment is then made directly via a coin changer or a receipt dispenser with subsequent payment at a cash desk.
SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS
According to the motto: “Carrying water was the day before yesterday”, for Redl sustainability begins with drinking. With its participation in maxwater GmbH, water dispensers with treated drinking water using BWT filter technology are installed for companies and training facilities. There is also a sustainable solution for the catering industry: Aqua Mondo was introduced as the new brand together with BWT: filtered, mineralized water now comes directly from the tap.
