Taking the dispensing system out of operation during a long standstill
Please note that if the dispensing systems are not used for a longer period of time, the level of contamination in the pipes will increase dramatically. It is therefore necessary to clean the beverage dispensers professionally.
If you haven’t already thought about it, we recommend contacting your dispensing system cleaning company now at the latest, who will take care of a complete sanitation. If you do not have a contact person here, please contact us.
- Close all barrels, containers and bag-in-boxes, clean and disinfect the tap heads, couplings and barrel connections – please dry and hang up, do not soak in water buckets!
- Rinse the taps with warm water and remove syrup, beer and drink residues with clean brushes and disposable cloths.
- Treat the taps with disinfectant spray and rinse and dry the removable parts – please do not soak them in detergent and leave them lying around!
- For safety reasons, turn off the water supply to the dispensing system.
- Close all gas cylinders directly at the cylinder.
- Please leave cold stores, coolers, carbonators and other electrical appliances in operation to minimize contamination in the pipes through cooling.
- Have the pipes professionally cleaned before commissioning at the latest.
- Leave the dispensing system switched on to prevent damage to the electronics.
